General Training Resources

Skool 4 Dogz is an open training group, you are welcome to come out and train your dog your way. I'm sharing training links that I find useful, in no particular order.

Meagan Karnes, The Collared Scholar
I've signed up to the fabulous and free Play With Your Food & Tugging workshops. These are useful for from keener novice to advanced--how to increase engagement.  I also hear she has a fantastic reactive dog online (paid) course.

Hannah Brannigan, Wonderpups
I'm just beginning to explore her free online resources, great for keeners, some good sport dog and pet dog resources.

Sue Ailsby, Mind to Mind Training Levels
More free stuff, might help you structure your self study sessions

Leerburg, Leerburg Training Articles
Lots of free stuff, intermediate to advanced. I love anything Michael Ellis, Tyler Muto on pet dog training. Want to learn how to play tug safely or how to use tug and food rewards to motivate & add pizzaz, yep.

Tricks and Training, Facebook Group.  Well moderated, all methods, ask anything. Has 'alligator' (safeword) rule in case your question gets too hot to handle, just say alligator.  Very good place to get tips on  trick training.

delving into Janice Gunn youtube videos.

kikopup on youtube <--- excellent for beginners

Paper Plate Recall-- excellent resource whether you are just starting out & trying to figure out what to do, or your dog has 'forgotten everything' in the presence of distractions.  This link is detailed!
